When should I book my Bridal Consultation?

Bridal consultations should be booked 4-6 weeks in advance. I recommend booking your consultation on a special day, like your bridal shower, engagement shoot or bachelorette party. That way you can look beautiful look for another special event.

How should I prepare my hair and skin for the consultation?

Your hair should be clean and completely dry in order to have the hair set properly. Brides should moisturize their skin prior to the consultation to ensure the makeup goes on smoother and last longer.

WHAT happens during the bridal consultation AND HOW LONG DOES it take?

Bridal consultations take approximately 2 hours. This gives us time to make sure you get exactly what you want.

During the consultation, we'll discuss different looks and details of your wedding day look. I'll answer your questions, get full details of your wants and needs, and I'll help you create the look you want.

Please bring photos of makeup and hair ideas, and your veil and headpiece. This will help us complete the look.

HOW LONG WILL MY MAKEUP AND HAIR TAKE ON THE WEDDING DAY?

It takes approximately 2 hours for the brides hair and makeup. Bridesmaids and mothers will take about 45 minutes each, unless someone has abnormally long or thick hair. We'll start with the mothers and bridesmaids and finish with the Bride. We'll freshen up everyone before the wedding begins.

How should I prepare for my wedding day hair and makeup?

Have everyone in the bridal party arrive with clean, dry hair and clean moisturized skin compatible for fresh makeup.  If you have SPF in your moisturizer, we recommend avoiding anything over 15 SPF to avoid the “white face” look in photos.  Exfoliate your lips so that your lipstick will stick, and whiten those pearly white teeth so that your smile stands out in photos.  On the day of, wear a robe or button down shirt so that your hair will stay in place, and sit back, relax, and enjoy the pampering before you walk down the aisle.
